DARK GOLD JAZZ
The Band

DaRK GoLD Jazz: Origin

Dave and Kenn had been asked to fill in for a local band during the summer for a gig in West Ocean City, Maryland. Kenn was going to get to play with Dave for the first time. It was an outdoor gig, but the rain prevented this from happening. During the practice Dave had asked Kenn for his number and said he would call (Right... we’ve all heard that line before). Dave was true to his word and called Kenn about two weeks later.

They bounced ideas around for about a month before actually getting together. Through the conversations Dave mentioned Ruke as the other piece to the puzzle. Surprisingly, Kenn had been told about Ruke and his playing some years back, but was involved in other projects. The clandestine meeting of these three men would mark the beginning of something musically special and magical.

On the first night, there was chemistry between the three that filled the room. They knew they were on to something. Something beyond special.

The three musical talents that have come together as DaRK GoLD Jazz mark the beginning of a new jazz style on the Eastern Shore. You can feel the excitement and electricity fill the room with each note, beat, and groove you hear. (Keep in mind that each time they play, something a little different is going to happen!) Each show is an event you won’t want to miss.

And they’re great guys too!

Don’t miss out on the DaRK GoLD Jazz experience!
